In this square you find several statues of heroes from the Hungarian history. Kings, princes and rulers. You find here the statue of the conquering Prince Árpád with the leaders of the seven Magyar tribes and St. Stephen, Hungary’s first Christian king, too. In this square you can visit Art Hall, but Museum of Fine Arts is closed till spring of 2018.
Close to Heroes’ Square in the City Park you find also the Vajdahunyad Castle, Budapest Zoo and Széchenyi Bath.

To Heroes Square the easiest way is to ride by metro.

You can take M3 metro line then you need to change to M1 metro line at Deák tér and ride to Hősök tere station.
